I know you're probably getting tired of me posting but the muse called again. This one woke me this morning so here it is. This will sound like a soft anthem,

I Love My Island Life

The morning breeze chases
The clouds across the sky
The sun tints the horizon
As darkness waves goodby
Soft water laps the shoreline
The palms leaves speak to me
The seagulls drift upon the breeze
Forever flying free

The simple folk who live here
The warmth of family

I know it isn't perfect
The typhoons tell me so
