Hello,
I'm looking for people in the MA/NH area to form a very big group...no specific number in mind, but maybe 20 or more? I have no preference as to instrumentation: the more eclectic, the better.
My goal for this group is to experiment with improvised minimalism. I have no interest in music theory and don't want to rigidly adhere to a certain key or meter or whatever. But I'm also not interested in creating shapeless blobs of random noise. I like structure in music, but I want the music to form itself.
I've used the word "I" a lot, but ideally this would be a pure democracy, with no leaders and no heroes. The whole point would be to break down all of our tendencies and build something new and weird with the pieces.
If you're interested, send me a message and we can discuss our ideas in greater detail.
