Due to the size of this board, by far the best way to search it is via google with jpfolks.com listed as the only domain to search. By doing so you'll get instant results no matter how old the post. With well over a million posts here the old search function can't handle all that.

Give it a try, you should be happy with the results. You can also find ALL your posts by putting your user name in the mandatory search terms so it will find only those posts with your user name. There are other little tricks similarly you can use to help with searches.

Post here if you're still having trouble.

I would go to google and type in -- I Love You site:jpfolks.com -- and I would get this:

Still the best way to search anything on Google now that they top results are paid for and the rest are corporate partners with Google for the most part. They open internet is long gone, especially using the big search engines, most of which are just facades on Google results.

No disagreements from me. But unfortunately there are few legit options that aren't simply a front for the same people Google shills for. They all censor results, cordon off massive portions of the web and simply run links to the highest bidders while blocking most of the internet traffic from most of the content. Somehow we still get referrals from them, but it is a fraction of what it once was.

It's truly a shame... I can still remember when Google was new; Can still remember their original "One Big Happy World" advertising...

Oh, the ironic success of "Google Earth"... lol

I just wonder if what they're doing NOW was the plan all along? To say that they are grossly biased against anything freely "thriving" on the great WWW without permission is just... redundant.

Of course, their "Lawful Justification" is just "Business"...; Business biased by a myriad of political motivations...; Motivations all aimed at reducing the "Dumb Masses" down to the lowest common denominator...

By swaying "public opinion", they also sway how people spend money... consume media... assign loyalty... vote...

Freedom to honestly express opinions, especially through music, is the antithesis of anything Google propagates today...

This has been a long planned out military operation to control the masses. The levels of spying and surveillance is nearly 100%. We have zero privacy online or in our homes if we use tech connected to the web or cellular towers. I no longer take my cell phone most places unless I am out of town and I never turn on GPS etc. They still know your location via cell towers if you have your phone with you. A fr4iend showed me how they can find your phone (if they really want to) even with it turned off. You have to take out the battery AND Sim card to have privacy. But everyone's door camera and cell phones are recording all audio and most everything is on video. It is unlikely you could leave your house and get outside your neighborhood without passing in front of multiple cameras. Facial recognition is old tech. Now they find you even easier via the way you walk. That is something difficult to hide from.

The internet using Google or Apple or Windows is 100% controlled. I read the "privacy" policy of HBO/Max. The changed to Max and the new App gives them the right to use audio from your phone 24/7, all video and photos, every keystroke you make in any context and every other level of spying you can imagine just to watch a movie or tv show. People have no idea what they are agreeing to. It even says they get to sell or share all your info with anyone, including the government or anyone paying them. If you have that, or any other, modern App, you have given away 100% of your privacy.

I read the EULA's too...
The "Privacy Policy" may sound like it's there to protect you, but ultimately, the EULA claims "ownership" of anything you do with their software. Furthermore, for legal reasons, they claim the right to do whatever they want with what they own, and the right to change their policy whenever they choose...

Basically, you sign away ownership of your personal information, and your right to hold anyone accountable.

How the hell did this become "the standard"? Think about it... if you have a phone and internet access, THEY OWN YOU!

AND YOU PAY MONTHLY FOR THE PRIVILEGE!

Your online banking app, your credit cards, all your search, purchase, and social media history... The EULA of your "phone or computer" claims ownership and zero liability for any of it.

Frankly, I don't believe that all the incessant "updates" are for security reasons... Digital information is always being sent "both ways"

Just 30yrs ago, all this technology was novelty and voluntary. Now, it's mandatory and compulsory, not to mention psychologically addictive and sold as a "networking convenience" while they inundate you with "personally targeted" and preferred advertising...

If this isn't a Biblical sign of the times then I don't know what is...

Privacy Policies is where they make you slaves of the technocracy. Using any tech now is to give away 100% of your freedoms to the machine. And they keep finding more and more ways to dig the knife deeper and deeper.

It's all an illusion, Brian. Fleeting and pointless.

Humankind will look back on this era in history and be like "What the heck were we thinking THERE??" LOL!
