Re-posting this over here at the recommendation of Ricki Bellos. I recently got contacted by a performer from Florida who was looking for songs about people who were putting their lives back together. Somebody told him that I was the guy for songs like that. His name is Mike Pryor AKA Dumpster Mike...formerly homeless, now sober and turning it all around. He fell in love with this song that I wrote with Roy Holdren, and came up to Nashville to cut it at The 515 in Berry Hill. It's the title track of his upcoming CD.

Good song Kurt. Good message told from the point of view of the person going through the hell of alcoholism, not being preached from a sober society that have not experienced it. Congratulations on the cut, if heard widely enough it could have a great effect on those experiencing the hell of the Devil's snare of alcohol.

People who haven't been there don't have a clue. The folks who have know all to well.
