It's a brand new day out there so I thought I'd give this old tune a fresh start. I couldn't have done it without the expertise of Michael Zaneski! He gave this song LIFE, man!! SO very pleased with this demo. I hope you are, too. PS- Hey Tammy.... I took your advice... ;-) http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13497258 "Wanna Stay in Love (With You)" (c)2016 by David Gill You're so beautiful it hurts It's just like staring at the sun But I can't look away I can't look away When I'm in your arms I'm like a child having fun and I just wanna stay I just wanna stay 'cause you make me feel that there is so much more to learn There's so much more to learn And you keep me safe from all this insanity Like we will always be in love I'm looking toward the future but I'm stuck at here and now It's nice to have you near It's nice to have you near I don't have all the answers but we'll make it through somehow and stay together, dear let's stay together, dear 'cause you give me hope that there is so much more than this there's so much more than this and you show me things to feed my insanity that's why we'll always be in love Push me, pull you hold you tightly that's what we do daily nightly on and on we'll keep on fighting us against the world us against the world! You're so beautiful it hurts it's just like staring at the sun but I can't look away I can't look away When I'm in your arms I'm like a child having fun and I just wanna stay I just wanna stay In love... I just wanna stay in love I wanna stay in love (repeat 3 x's) with you....

Likable song.
Personal preference would be to slow it 2-4 bpm and give the vocals a little more space.

What a sweet love song, you had me at the opening line! David, sounds like you took it to the right production wizard too. Well done Mike. Ricki

Great song!
Upbeat. A love song! Great feel.
Some real gems in the lyrics. I liked the "like staring at the sun" image. Had to smile at the
"Push me, pull you hold you tightly that's what we do daily nightly "
bit. Damn!!
Good stuff man.

Hey guys,
Nice work here, with this uptempo song. I liked the melody and some nice lyric lines for sure. I might prefer not having all the repeat lines, especially earlier in the song--but that is just opinion, and not sure how that would work without delving into the music as written.
Nice job, cool song for sure!

Martin, Ricki, John (Vtoutlander), Eddie, Calvin, and Tom: Thanks, all. Dave's songs are fun to arrange and produce and sing harmonies on. I get to unleash my inner-child that loves a good pop song. I love how it jumps right in and hooks you from the get go. Thanks also Dave Gill for all your encouragement and positivity. Mike
