After five years of trying to write a Christmas song, I have finally done it!! It was so hard to come up with an original idea. I got a challenge from a FAWM skirmish to write about a "smell memory" and that led me to this song! This is the first song I've done in a while, I got side-tracked by my photography, then my computer went to tech heaven and then I had a depression of sorts. I finally dragged out the Tascam now that I have a working computer once again and here's the best I can do, I'm a bit out of practice in playing, singing and recording! I send wishes and hugs to all of my JPF family, enjoy whatever holiday you celebrate, remember the one thing that keeps us all together is the music and I always feel like I've come home when I check in. sweet  Maybe take the chorus to a distinctively different melodic range than the verses.

Hi Tammy! So nice to see you on jpf! I've actually been on here a bit, the past few weeks. Jim Colyer has been really helping me to get back in the groove by our weekly writing sessions. Co-writing is a beautiful thing I love what you've done here. And there's nothing wrong with the production at all. It's quite nice. I always love hearing your voice. And a Christmas Song!!!! Yep, we all want to write one of those... My 2 cents : I'd like to hear this song done with just a ukulele and your voice. I think that it would have more movement, with the ukulele strum and less instruments would lighten it up as well. Less is definitely more, in this case. I'd also be happy to lend a track, if you ever feel like doing a long distance collaborate. Always a pleasure working with you. Let me know, if you're ever interested. That's just my 2 cents though. Long time no see!
Really like this Christmas song! It's legit... it actually has that Christmas song feel. Sounds so great. Especially the harmonies. I really like where they diverge at the end of the chorus (the wondrous part). Really sweet!!
