Falling Feather
Sad as a shadow with no one to cling to Lonely as a drop of rain in a sky of blue There in the sunshine unable to bloom Her heart's been melted inside the spoon
A gate left open as she wandered on in Knowing well the worse was about to begin A world of sorrow disguised by the feeling Soon bartered her soul for one more dealing
And the end,it lasts forever When it begins, she'll never know Lost in time, like a falling feather All in her mind, wherever the wind blows
Shame in the presence of the Devil's demand Morals are lost to his evil command To feed the hunger she does what it takes To get back to herself would be the great escape
And the end,it lasts forever When it begins, she'll never know Lost in time, like a falling feather All in her mind, wherever the wind blows

I like it but the bit about inside the spoon struck me as odd. I don't know what that means. Otherwise, very good.

This piece I interpret as the saga of a fallen woman who has taken to drugs and prostitution. Correct?

Hiya Brian, yes,it is about drug use but not prostitution though a lot of it finds its way in to prostitution to feed the habit.Mike

Hi Michael,
Tragic drama you have unfolding here! Very cool! At first I thought she was abused and then I thought prostitute, but by the end, I thought drugs!
