Irwin, I'd agree that this experimental aka avant-garde. However, with a little tracking measure-wise, it also sounds like a track that you'd hear in a travelogue. Thanks for sharing.

Irwin,
This has a great sound and some really compelling components. I’m not a lover of jazz—I’ve just never gotten it—so when I suggest maybe trying put a little more structure around this, it’s probably bad advice from the wrong person. But offering it up for what it’s worth. Thanks for sharing and keep working it.
Best regards,
Deej

Irwin,
Definitely a very cool vibe. I like and agree with what EJ said.
My thoughts as to what "might" improve this is to expound on the percussion track in places and bring it forward more in your mix--you have the space for it to have its own percussion signature. Maybe even add some different types of bongo type sounds, but at least I'd pull the percussion you have a bit closer and louder to better glue the mix.
Really enjoyed this Irwin!

Hi Irwin:
I listened earlier but did not have time to comment. I've been observing your progress since you arrived at JPF and I want to encourage you too "keep on keeping on" my friend. Making music with limited resources and in a tough economy is difficult... and you are getting there. Even for jazz, it isn't perfect but the "bones are there" and you have the makings of a good composition.
Our Pal, E.J. gave you some really great advice. I have no doubt you will heed it and prosper.
All the best, ----Dave
