After fourteen months I finally write another song. So much joy and happiness has come to me. I truly feel blessed. Here ya go, enjoy, it’s a rocker! : http://www.badbetsy.com/new_original/s/thirteen

That's a good rocker with some interesting chord patterns to boot. I really like the chord changes, and the harmony vocals added a lot of texture.

Well done. Funny how that works... or not! The "Muse" is always in control. Enjoyed my listen... and best of luck with the album.

Hi Iggy, I wondered where you got to.
Overall this is a keeper. It's got attitude. Just one small sugg. Maybe the chorus needs to start with a different chord to make it jump forward more. Might be worth a try.

There's a lot to like here.
Strong vocals, guitar and a spot on mix all make it an enjoyable listen!
Kudos!

Hi Mike, thanks for the listen and comments. The chords aren’t that unusual mostly just Am-Em_D.
Yes Dave the muse is always in control. Thanks man!
Vic, thank you, Sir. I’ll give that chord change a try. I appreciate the suggestion.
Janice and Bud Wow! Thanks. I did everything in three days in my man cave/studio/basement. Once I got into the “zone” I couldn’t stop.

Hello Iggy, Very entertaining. 14 months....I can relate....I have a few possible lyrics but can't get focused enough to put them to music yet. Have a good day. Calvin http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/calvinstewart

Iggy,
So glad to see you around, you're one of my favorite "cogs" in the wheel around here! Cool song, cool lyrics, classic pop-rock IMO--love it!

Thanks Calvin. I’m finding that now I'm only writing songs when my moods are very high or very low.
Sir Eddie, I guess it’s better to be a cog in the wheel than a nail in the tire, eeh? Always appreciate your comments and feedback. Thanks.

Ha, slacking off Ricki! Maybe in songwriting but I play in three different bands which keep me busy. Besides I usually write songs when my emotions have been overly stimulated. At my age I can't be overly stimulated for long! Thanks for the comments.
Thanks Dee.I appreciate the listen and the comments.

Hi Iggy The first thing that hit me was a REM feel to this. Not a bad thing of course. Good vocal and all round good production Yes the thumbs up here Regards Travis

I thought the way you sung "You You You" was such a strong hook it should be the chorus with the lift: "I was so afraid of" and lead into the Yous-ful part.

Thanks 9-ne for the comments and the listen. I’ll think about your recommendation with the yous. Appreciate your time and thoughts.
Good Day John are you saying I have been among the dead? True I don’t post much anymore but I do check in every day. Thanks for the comments, my friend.
