I apologize for posting another track so soon after the last one. I played the lead on this with my Fender Deluxe Stratocaster in 2015 which I sadly sold in the search for tone. Unfortunately I didn't realize that I had already found it, so this track is a fond memory of that wonderful guitar. One for Strat and Moon lovers maybe. Hope you like it. Oh as a footnote I am very proud of the outro which is the longest I have ever done but well worth the effort me thinks. Sorry about all the waffle. :-) https://soundcloud.com/gerry-cooper-855281238/footprint-on-the-moon-rmx

We have a problem, Houston: Gerry is making his compositions much too realistic and I am now stranded on the lunar surface... enjoying the musical ride he has provided.
Gerry, no apologies required... your music is always inspiring and melodic. Thanks so much for sharing "Footprint" with us. Where would JPF be without you and "The Schickster?"
All the best, ----Dave

Sonic soundscapes of lush atmosphere topped with tasty guitar.
I really loved this - not much more to say about it!
Peace, TC

So smooth and so cool, Gerry. It took me somewhere...If no one had walked on the moon, you wouldn't have had that footprint to write about. Ricki

Gerry,
Another killer production on this one—very other worldly. Terrific mix on this one. It’s an enjoyably chill listen.
Kind regards,
Deej

Gerry,
No need to apologize. Hey this was really a nice little surreal trip that is just what I needed to launch a week off from work. I loved the contrasting elements. You captured a cool vibe here, and the title beckons one to want to see what's inside! Loved the Fender, nice arrangement and nice play'n!

Gerry,
All sounds terrific. The mood is atmospheric and fits really well with the title.
I was waiting for one "bigger" section. Just a little bridge that is stronger or more upbeat. It wouldn't have to be too big...I could hear a stronger bass drum beat (maybe even with a little reverb but be careful there), some snare hits etc... Again not a major rock section just a "bigger" section. I think one reason why I hear this is that you tease it with the synth you have in the background. It keeps rising up as if something bigger is coming but it never does.
It's not that I have an issue with what you have at all! Just something that was missing to my ears.

Thanks Ricky yes you could well be right about a bigger section. I guess that's one of the great things about music the directions you can take are unlimited unlike my brain. Maybe one of these days I will come back to this one but for the moment I am well into another composition and if I try to keep two balls in the air I fall over. Does that sound right? LOL
