Heard this on the radio the other day, reminded me of how much I enjoyed it when it first came out. Best song I heard on the radio in a decade. One of those songs that seem to have a deep meaning, but I really dont know what its about. I guess that's art Seems to me to be about how illusions get shattered, and how reality can be harsh. But Ive read other interpretations such as its about somebody addicted to drugs, or losing a loved one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtgPeNKpnyw

An overt manifestation of a covert resistance to social stimulation, compounded by reactive behaviors to events sparking internalization and disclosure. We all need more of this.

“Sometimes it's not enough to know what things mean, sometimes you have to know what things don't mean.” Bob Dylan. That's what I was thinking, when I heard it I said it's NOT about backpacking in the Himalayas.

Thanks for sharing, FD:
I don't usually care for music videos but this one helped me imagine the intent of the writer a little more. Highly interpretive but certainly not the same old "same old" we hear so often these days. ...and yeah, I agree with Brian. Loved the back and forth banter between you and Perry. We do need more of that good natured, highly sophisticated humor around here!
