Who I want to be and who I am Verse I’m not all that bad of a guy But I still have bad Days. I still make my share of mistakes. Say things I shouldn’t say. Pre chorus I’m still struggling with my demons. Some days I still lose But I’m winning a bit more often. Learning I can choose. Chorus I put one foot in front of the other. Do my best to be a better man. Lord there’s a hellava difference in Who I want to be and who I am. Verse I still have a long way to go. But I have more good days. No one said it would be easy But I’m seeing a change. Pre chorus I’m still struggling with my demons. Some days I still lose But I’m winning a bit more often. Learning I can choose. Chorus I put one foot in front of the other. Do my best to be a better man. Lord there’s a hellava difference in Who I want to be and who I am. Bridge Still fall off the wagon now and then But I’m sober most of the time. Yes I’m sober most of the time. Verse I’m not all that bad of a guy But I still have bad Days.

I like what you have to say and how you say it. The process of getting better means choosing to learn and choosing to take actions applying what we have learned. I see who I want to be in the distance before me, and I try to do what I must do to gain on it. But the closer I get the farther forward it goes. I fear to think what would become of me if it stopped.

"When will we all, as artists, creators and facilitators learn that the so-called experts in our lives are nothing more than someone who has stepped forward and called themselves an expert?" –Brian Austin Whitney
