Hello everyone. I am dropping by to mention that I released a single today for my song Looking for Leonard Cohen. This was produced by Mike Zaneski. I also made a lyric video for the song. Link is below. This is digital distribution only. You can stream it on Spotify and find it on Amazon Music, iTunes, etc. Thanks to Mike for his great production on this. I hope you will view the video. https://youtu.be/F7ejNObHXCU And please share if you like it. Thanks so much!

I really enjoyed the video, Wendy. I was confused at first by the sudden switch to Greece, but that caused me to google Leonard Cohen, and now I get it. So your video was educational as well as enjoyable.
Nice gentle song with approachable lyrics and Mike's production is as good as always. Congrats.

Thank you Gavin.
I wanted to use someone's home footage of touring the interactive Cohen exhibit at the Jewish museum in Montreal but could not find any for this type of use, so then I settled on images of places that inspired him. I eventually liked the idea of not actually using any images of him at all in the video, since the song speaks to his absence. The other locations featured in the video are Hydra Island, Greece (as you pointed-out) and Mt. Baldy, California where he spent time in a Buddhist Monastery.
Again, thanks so much for taking the time to view/listen. I really appreciate it.

Hi Wendy:
Enjoyed your salute to Leonard. The video worked well and Mike's production was "spot on" as always. Here's wishing you success and happiness in all your endeavors. Keep creating, my friend(s).
Regards, ----Dave

Nicely done Wendy...and yeah, Mike is being Mike here...kudos to you too. I missed the Chelsea Hotel Thanks John! Just fyi, I am playing guitar and singing on this. Originally, I just wanted Mike to add cello. He suggested the oud, which I thought was brilliant, along with the bass and light percussion. It's a pretty stripped down production really. I am really pleased with how it turned-out.
