I got lucky enough to hookup with Ms. Judy Bailey as my co-writer.
In case you are not familiar with her, here is a brief bio......
She emerged on the country music scene in 1981, when ‘Following The Feeling’, a duet cut and the title track of a Moe Bandy, Columbia Records album, became a Top 10 US country hit. She followed it the same year with two Top 60 solo hits ‘Slow Country Dancing’ and ‘The Best Bedroom In Town’.
How i got lucky enough to co-write with her was by chance or fate
Be looking for us to post our works here.

Morning, Michael:
I listened to some of her work (thanks to John's link)... and I wish you well in the co-writing opportunity you have gained. With luck, this will give you a "leg-up" on 90% of those of us here at JPF who struggle daily. I suspect she has "keys" to open doors for your co-writes... in order for "ears that count" to be able to hear your work.
After pursuing this fast fading dream for nearly 20 years, I can advise you to patiently listen to her advice. She is the "partner" in this endeavor with the experience. Experience... combined with talent is still no guarantee for success... but it sure paves the way... if there is an avenue left for song-writers today.
Best of luck to you both. Keep us posted when convenient. Participation here will be important if you intend to find support for your work. Listen to the songs of others. It can be rewarding in several ways. First, you will either like... or not enjoy what you hear. Next, you may wonder how you would have written or performed it... or what genre, beat or backing instruments you would have chosen. Sometimes, you will hear work so terrible... it will bolster your desire to "never make that mistake." It's all good... and Brian's place is an incubator like no other.
Merry Christmas, neighbor... ----Dave

That will be her. I am open to any of her suggestions and ideals. She has reviewed a few of my lyrics and said she likes what she has read and that she has ideals for music already.
It will be after the holidays before she can start on my lyrics but we are set for a long working relationship together.
