Thank you for sharing this young man's talent. Rock and Blues will always be welcomed back as a respite from other "styles" lacking the ingenuity and virtuosity that stands out in contrast to poop on a loop and Rap Crap.

Well blues is in everything we hear. Any music from 1870 on is either all blues or a blues hybrid. Even rap has blues in it. But you wouldnt think this guy had a prayer of becoming relavent in today's music world. I thought games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero, and of course. the emulating software we have was too much to overcome. And its so hard to really be original in blues, its all based on the same stuff. This guy has it all.

Hi FD:
I was unaware that "Blues" as a genre had "gone away?" I listen to it most of the time... and it crosses genres quite often. Sorry, don't have time to watch videos... but I appreciate you putting them "up" for the rest of the gang to see. Just finished doing a blues number to share with the Wrabek Family and replace the original I did a few years ago. JPF just doesn't seem the same without Joe Wrabek. But I digress!
Regards, ----Dave

Regards, ----Dave it never goes away, but you wont hear it on the radio, and I dont know any kid who listens to it. Stevie Ray Vaughn dominated radio for a while in the 80's which gave it a boast. Today, much like all great musical art it takes a back seat. It goes in cycles.

Doesn't everything go in cycles? LOL! I'm about to be re-cycled... I just hope I have time to get a few more songs wrapped up! I noticed you've "tacked up" a couple of songs... and will do my best to give a listen later today.
Have a great week. ----Dave

Blues just morphs into something else while others will always seek out authentic.. anything to expand the fun and love of music is a good thing!
