Remix and master of an OldieMired in a perpetual state of solitude, occasionally interrupted by periods of spirits fueled intertwining's of loneliness, strangers and me. "Ooh yeah... he's made his bed" "Bare Feet In The Street"

As usual, Mr. Nelson... your honest vocal really sells the song. Your talent on all counts, lyric, melody, vocal and production... is top notch. Best of luck with your music.

Good song - you took a risk in the second stanza by changing the melody line before it was quite embedded in my head, but it worked because the whole format is repeated again. I love creative choices like that - especially when they work BTW I thought the expression was "bare foot.." Paul

Stellar gitar, that leads on into the story which is so like my life at this point in time. Superb lyrics that flow like the Niagra with the melody. Your enunciation and expressiveness are perfect. One can feel the song as well as hear it. It is 3-D with a few C's and E's thrown in for good measure. Bravo~Write right ...right on~~Matt

Glad you enjoyed it As for the expression, you're 100% correct but when I create a world in a song, I often take a bit of creative license.

Hey Nelson,
Always a treat to see you in the threads again. I remember this'n from a while back! Unique arrangement works well with the lyric theme I agree. I always especially like your vocals which sound like no one else.

Nelson,
Nice, crisp sound to this . . . love those castanets (or whatever those percussion touches are). Terrific vocal and production. Compelling tune—sweet listen.
My best to you,
Deej

Very much in your Dylan voice great story, loneliness is a tragedy and you convey this feeling of absolute worthlessness very convincingly John

hi Nelson, I haven't heard/seen any of yours before. You were coming on here as I was taking a hiatus. Listening to this was a joy. You sound a bit like Jim Croce and I have everything he's ever done.
