https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13901218Just like love V Angels don't fall from heaven When they have wings to fly Those colours in the rainbow aren't painted by some guy C Somethings are meant to be Somethings come naturally Just like love Just like love V Sunshine and showers grow flowers Wish love grew that way From the shore the tide flows but it'll return the same day Chorus B. ( The bridge is different on the recording, this was the initial version) You can see love You can feel love And love can set you free V Nobody tells the wind to blow You walk before you run One thing I know for sure lonesome 'til you find someone Chorus ---------------------------- The second version of the song and work in progress. The song is a soft jazz soul song composed by myself and Keith Redfern A full band version is to sung at Zaferellies jazz venue in Lakeland next week. The vocal will feature a female lead Cheers John

Travis, Very nice to hear the complete version of this, having only heard a snippet or two previously. Keith does a really nice job on it. Very different than the prior version; really smooth. I’m partial to that prior version (guess why ) . . . but this is superbly done (and if I’m terribly honest, much better than the version you did with that other guy). Will you get to see it played live? Hope so. Hope all is well on your side of the pond! Deej

Hi Travis and Keith:
Very nice, guys. Enjoyed my listen and I'm hoping this one will generate fans and cash for you. Great vocal, by the way. If you plan to "pitch" the song... you might consider a female demo version? Coving all the bases is never a bad idea if time and money are no problem.
Wishing both of you the best, ----Dave

Hey Travis/Keith,
I didn't hear the other version. I like this vibe & melody. It does remind me of a late 60's pop song. I'm not sure who's producing, but before doing a demo, I think it would benefit you with polishing the production a bit--by panning the main electric guitar a bit away from center one way or another about 40% and maybe reduce volume slightly, as its getting in the way of the lead vox--let lead vox have center. Have the lead guitar solo panned slightly to opposing side of main guitar rhythm. If drums are on one track, you won't be able to adjust or pan individual parts, if separate, cymbals do not need to be so far left of right--they need to feel part of the drum kit, and kick should be more pronounced to give the song more pulse--IMO. Harmonies could be should be panned a bit probably opposite side of electric guitar and eq'd to be more pronounced (if you do pan the guitar it a bit). Think 3D with your mix balance which will empower these really good vocals!
Nice write fellas, but it could really be really be enhanced IMO. Sweet song!

A slow dance for sure and Eddie has some good suggs to consider.
I assume the live performance is delayed for the meantime.

Very smooth easy listening tune. Enjoyed it. Nice optimistic write. Really enjoyed it. Great job guys. Well done! I agree there are some mix issues that should be addressed, per Eddie's post.

Thanks Vic Live version scuttled. Sad as we were all looking forward to this one. We're all in the same boat though but I'm sure in a few months we'll get back to normality John
