(v) One day, I just might be able to Take control of my heart again Instead of watchin' love come and go Like the dust blown' in the wind
(v) (And) One day, I just might be able to Close my eyes and not feel the pain Someday, I'll forget the day you left For now, your memory remains
(chorus) Yes, one day, just not today You'll finally know what lonely means How it feels to fall apart at the seams And one day, just not today You'll walk alone on the street called broken dreams And finally understand what leavin' means Yes, one day, just not today
(v) One day, I might be able to Hear our song and cry no longer Get myself up off the bedroom floor Each passing day, I'll grow stronger
(chorus) Yes, one day, just not today You'll finally know what lonely means How it feels to fall apart at the seams And one day, just not today You'll walk alone on the street called broken dreams And finally understand what leavin' means Yes, one day, just not today
(bridge) And one day, I might be able to Lose your memory in my head Not be a prisoner in my own bed
(tag) One day, just not today

I'd suggest this arrangement, Verse/Chorus, Verse/Chorus, Verse, Bridge, Chorus, Coda. If you have a Third Verse you may not need a Bridge. Or an Instrumental Bridge might serve better than a Lyrical Bridge. Or you might not need a Verse III, using a Bridge after the second giving of the Chorus, and coming back with the Chorus and Coda to end.
"One Day (Just Not Today)" (Verse I) One Day, I just might be able to Take control of my heart again Instead of watchin' love come and go Like the dust blown' in the wind
(Chorus) Yes, One Day, Just Not Today You'll finally know what lonely means How it feels to fall apart at the seams One Day, Just Not Today You'll walk alone on the street called broken dreams And finally understand what leavin' means Yes, One Day, Just Not Today
(Verse II) One Day, I just might be able to Close my eyes and not feel the pain Someday, I'll forget the day you left For now, your memory remains
Yes, One Day, Just Not Today You'll finally know what lonely means How it feels to fall apart at the seams One Day, Just Not Today You'll walk alone on the street called broken dreams And finally understand what leavin' means Yes, One Day, Just Not Today
(Bridge) One Day, I might be able to Lose your memory in my head Not be a prisoner in my own bed
(Verse III) One Day, I might be able to Hear our song and cry no longer Get myself up off the bedroom floor Each passing day, I'll grow stronger
Yes, One Day, Just Not Today You'll finally know what lonely means How it feels to fall apart at the seams One Day, Just Not Today You'll walk alone on the street called broken dreams And finally understand what leavin' means Yes, One Day, Just Not Today
(Coda) One Day, Just Not Today
There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com

I also think you should add something past the bridge - but only a chorus. I'd hold off until you get a tune to decide if the Coda would make the song better.

hi, my only problem here is a common one
For now, your memory remains
your memory belongs to the other person the singer should be saying Memories of you remain
apart from that it's a good lyric all the best, john
