RAKING LEAVES
Raking leaves in the gentle breeze I soothe my restless soul, The rustling has me lost in dream While leaves fly, swirl, and roll.
Leaves fly high above me and They fall back to the ground, I’m raking while enchanted by The colors and the sound.
Yellow, red, and orange cascade With mesmerizing flair, While troubles of the world rage on, At peace, I’m unaware.
I know not when my task will end, And do not really care, As blissfully my rake now casts More leaves into the air.

I like this a lot.
It reads well and captures the beauty of the moment perfectly. Nice.

Thank you. Having too much time on my hands now with this pandemic making me a homebound vagabond, my mind sometimes descends a twisted staircase as evidenced in my next thread.

"If one man can do it, any man can do it. It is true. But the real question is, if one man did it, are you willing to do what it takes to do it as well?" –Brian Austin Whitney
