I have music videos on you tube and facebook. But I want more options for people to link to them. I have been looking at music video sites but do not know what is better with them. I don't know if I should go to GoDaddy, or other options with hosting sites. I was thinking of a domain site to where I could be independent with the content. But that would take money and a responsibility to maintain that. Any suggestions?

Hi there.
not sure what you mean.. but a website with embeded videos from youtube could be what you are looking for.

If you have a website built with Wordpress, as so many are these days, it's pretty easy to host the videos right on the site. Here's an example from my website: https://mysteriousbeings.com/portfolio/gulp-dont-sip/As you can see, the video is embedded in the page. It's not that difficult to build a site with Wordpress, but to be honest, it probably helps if you enjoy learning and the creative aspect of building the site. Once it's built, maintaining it is easy - basically just a question of adding stuff, posting news items to the blog page, etc. In my view, it's worth learning the basics because that gives you total control and you are more likely to keep the site updated, since it's just a case of sitting down at your computer for a few minutes. As for cost, if you're doing it for yourself, it's cheap. I pay about $11 per month (it varies with the exchange rate because the host is based in London) and the annual domain renewal is about the same. I pay more because I have multiple websites hosted there and this covers them all. The single site monthly cost is about $5. No extra cost for SSL. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hosting company. Their customer service is outstanding. They held my hand through migrating all my sites from a less reliable host and no question was too stupid for them https://stablepoint.com/However, you can use just about any host, as they all offer Wordpress these days. One of the advantages of using Wordpress is that, if you grow dissatisfied with your host, you can move it elsewhere, which might not be possible if you are using their proprietary website building software. Good luck!

Well, I don't think youre going to find better places to host your videos than youtube. That's what everybody from top to bottom uses, and the whole world uses to see videos.
Facebook and Twitter would be your best places to put up a link to them. Have the links on your profiles of each
But in the ned, the problem is and always will be getting people to your sites.
You could start a go daddy page, but now will you get people there? Best chance is sticking with Facebook and Twitter and actively plugging them.
If your question is just about making it easier for people to click your videos, it can't be any easier than clicking a link, or embedding it on Facebook and twitter and having them hit play.

On reflection, probally the above is better for theses days. Although for me personally getting to grips with twitter has been a real pain lol God Bless Roy

Thanks to all for the feedback. I was thinking of a you tube station but feel some foreboding with that. I am not on the net everyday generally but try to check in 2 to 3 times a week with my schedule. I don't know if I would need to be more high maintenance than that. I have pretty much embedded myself in many sites but could often not come up with a 2 to 3 day a week commitment. But I am setting my feet to that and will look at these options. I posted videos on facebook and you tube this far. But I have never fully taken advantage of my options.
