I did a couple of 15 minute lyric challenge with Deej. This is a further 15 minute write with one change. That I challenged myself to write
Starlight Stella V She was on the beach dancing in the moonlight fire blazed, bottles raised, some were high as a kite. So I took the chance, began to dance, slicing sand She held out her arm, and I took hold of her hand
C Starlight Stella, when tonight's over we won't part Starlight Stella, this drunken fellah is going headlong for your heart. We danced till we dropped, the music stopped Is that the sun in the sky? Me and Starlight Stella are still together as the years have flown by.
B As our boat rocked to that motion on the ocean It set a twinkle in her eyes She said, let's dance, add a bit of romance Under this cloudless sky We headed further towards the sun and when the day was done We dropped anchor then slept on the deck till a new day begun,
Repeat v1
C

Thought I'd gone dyslexic, Stella by starlight came to mind.
Sounds like a good start.
I once broke a girls wrist at a wedding. I grabbed her hand and pulled her on the floor and broke her wrist. Needless to say I was on watch for a long time after that.

Hi Travis,
When I saw "Starlight Stella," I was thinking she'd be on a beach!
Regarding logistics ... they are on the beach in the beginning, but then they end up in a boat. It's the ocean, so it's not very easy to get from the beach to a boat in the ocean. And, if they're all alone on a boat in the ocean, and drunk ... hmmmm. Maybe as their "bodies rocked" to the motion of the ocean (still on the beach). And then maybe they can drop down in the sand and sleep?

Hi Travis, You could also give a second verse with him leading her to the boat etc., like V1,C,V2,C,B, C, outro...
