I’m caught up in a tug of war. I don’t know which side to take. Verse 2 My eyes are blind, my tongue is tied Won't see or speak the truth. The weeds they overgrow my mind Where logic can’t take root. Chorus I’ve built walls without windows For fear the world could see. Don’t want the sun to shine on in The darker side of me. There’s a tiger on the prowl. Where danger lies unseen. In the shadows of the night. The darker side of me. Verse 3 My ears are deaf to what you say. Hope has no home in here. My fears they overwhelm my faith. My eyes they shed no tears. Verse 4 I lay awake asleep at night My dreams overwhelmed Shadows overtake my light and tolling of the bell Chorus Instrumental Chorus

Hi Carroll & Jase:
I suspect the Genre, vocal, drums were provided by Jase. I know there is a market for this type music but not in the type of Genre's I would choose. As I began listening, I could not reach for the volume controls fast enough. I suspect the lyric would work well in several other styles. Best of luck, anyway. ----Dave

Carroll (and Jase)
I think this awesome. Dave reached right away to turn the volume down . . . but I turned it up. Great to hear something like this on the board. What I also like is that this is the second song I heard from you with Jase, and they are two very different takes . . . love the versatility and different approach. Well put together start to finish.
Liked “Casualties of War” as well, BTW. As I said, very different in style, but really well done, moving. Good work on that one, too!
All my best,
Deej
