This one has a feel similar to the one I just commented on.
TURBULENT WATERS
c2019 Brian Beecher
We’re facing turbulent waters Feeling you have to exert Your will over others in a shameful way
This isn’t going to sit well Though the opposite may be true Trying to exert their will over you today
Taking time to get some air is a brilliant idea Paying attention to what you’re doing or seeing Whether walking or driving now You may be seeing things you’re not believing
We’re facing turbulent waters It’ll be hard to avoid accidents Of the type that may get us in serious trouble
And as we start to question Whether something has come to an end Feeling alone and depressed And yet in a breakable bubble
We are told that a momentary Emotion will pass While the powers that be Won’t let us fill up our glass
And as much as you may be In a hurry to see Your plans progressing in a while The bosses will pick up speed
Remember what it was like to Just be in the moment and play Have we given up on the idea That it could happen again someday

"If one man can do it, any man can do it. It is true. But the real question is, if one man did it, are you willing to do what it takes to do it as well?" –Brian Austin Whitney
