This one is for those folks who, in many different types of situations, feel as if they are owed something when they are really not.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO JUSTIFY
c2020 Brian Beecher
My be examining your feelings and you’ve figured out The best way what this is all about Tears have been coming down just like the falling leaves You have to defend your position or your beliefs
You don’t have to justify You don’t have to justify You can have your beliefs but so can I I need to leave you now I’m on the other side
You now have more power to go after what you want Meet like-minded people at a bar or restaurant With passion and determination you go on But I can’t share your points of view so now I’m gone
You don’t have to justify You don’t have to justify You can have your beliefs but so can I I need to leave you now I’m on the other side
You’re filled with passion but it takes a little while But one day you’ll find the one who makes you smile You may start to see some movement one of these find days It might be sooner than you think, you’ll be amazed
You don’t have to justify You don’t have to justify You can have your beliefs but so can I I need to leave you now I’m on the other side

"You don’t have to justify You don’t have to justify You can have your beliefs but so can I I need to leave you now I’m on the other side..." Other side of what...? Not to be too hyper critical lol, I do see that your lyric has a happy ending but, I believe self-indulgent divisiveness is what separates us these days. I honestly believe that we ARE all owed something... Judgment.

Other side simply put means that there has been a falling out with one with whom the subject fails to see eye to eye and their belief systems are directly in opposition. Could apply in many types of circumstances down to one person saying that bliss is when a favorite sports team wins while the other thinks bliss is when a favorite political candidate wins. Just one example.

Again, not trying to be overly critical, but that seems contradictory within the context of the lyric... Especially when you say "One side fees like it's owed something..."
Compulsory acceptance of the fact that everyone is different is a consequence of freedom; We don't all have to be the same to agree upon it. However, competitive animosity tends to distract us from that agreement... In fact, emotional investment in competition will take precedence. To me, there seems to be a premeditated turning away from the natural concept of commonality that our Creator intended. How can we possibly come together in agreement if there is no moral standard? How will we ever see "eye to eye" when what drives the competition is an opposition to any moral standard?
Love does not conquer all... truth does, and you can't have one without the other.

"If one man can do it, any man can do it. It is true. But the real question is, if one man did it, are you willing to do what it takes to do it as well?" –Brian Austin Whitney
