Hi, Brian. It looks like my old soundcard isn't going to let me make the CD transfers from tape. I will not have my new gear for a few to several more months yet. I have a profile of 10 or 11 songs, if you count the one in process of mastering, up at the Tonos site. They are NOT mp3 files. I think they are ra transfers. Would it be possible to enter some or all of these at/from the Tonos site this year? I'll keep trying to get this old sound card back online, but it isn't looking good and even so, it will be a lousy transfer. I've only been able to get mostly demo quality stuff out of any of my old gear so far all tolled. However, the quality of writing is impeccable. 8-) www.tonos.com/sric2 Also, would it be OK to enter the lyric category re: songs that actually have music as well, but unable to record? Thanks ~ s

sric,
We can't accept files or web links. It's puts all the burden on us to do the work of transfering files etc.. and we do this free. Since we haven't made any other exceptions, we also have to be consistant.
The lyric portion is separate from the rest of the entries. People post their submissions here on the message boards when instructed and then everyone picks their favorites which generate the nominees. We'll likely do this in September or October.

Thanks for the reply. I understand. Consistency is the only fair way. Rules are good. Maybe next year. ~ suzy www.tonos.com/sric2 www.geocities.com/sric2 <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by Brian Austin Whitney: sric,
