This weekend officially marks the beginning of Spring (although it has not felt that way the last few days!) I wanted to get an idea of what everyone plans to do this Spring! Any big events, festivals, significant happenings going on in South Carolina that we can put our support behind? I see a festival in the upstate posted to the board and Brian's planning to route his roadtrip through here but does anyone else have events to publicize? Let's support each other in what we do here in SC as well as our neighboring states. A drop in the bucket doesn't seem like much until those drops fill that bucket. We are those drops and every event that our music community supports is the bucket. It's up to us to fill the bucket. So let's POUR IT ON! Post it if you got it...... The next several weeks on Fridays at the New Brookland Tavern is the Jam Room Showcase series, mostly geared toward rock bands but open to all. This Friday the 25th I'll be part of a panel discussion prior to the showcase. the other panelists are a rep from the Atlantis Music Conference and Otis Taylor from the State newspaper. the overall topic discussed this week will be press kits and how to get coverage of your band/event/show. the panel starts at 9 pm and I think lasts about an hour, then several bands will play.
Say hi if you come out...

"If one man can do it, any man can do it. It is true. But the real question is, if one man did it, are you willing to do what it takes to do it as well?" –Brian Austin Whitney
