I just revisited Mike's MySpace page and discovered this. I Like Brooklyn Video. How could I have missed it before. The guy is a pure musical genius - and the video is as good as any I have ever seen anywhere. I cannot believe how fortunate we are to have Mike as part of JPF. Humbling to hear and see this. http://www.myspace.com/sub_studioTom

Was just there a few of times over the past month and half. You don't have to tell me he's a musical genius. I see and hear his mastery every minutes I'm there,,,(Even when he's calling for pizza), he's moving things on the track or doing something musical!
Great song and video, for sure. His body of work is mind blowing. I recommend for folks to get his just released CD's. Ask him about them.
And take advantage of his many recording services! Priced to record! Away from his place, (email or mail), or in person).
I've learned so much from working with Mike over the past two years, in every aspect of songwriting, playing, producing and business.I had the fun part already, but even that gets enhanced! Humbling, for sure. Still is.
I like I'm Like Brooklyn too!
John
PS. Wait to you hear what we've been working on! It's taking time, but for good reasons of his. Will be worth the wait, I feel.

You may not believe this, and you can even ask my friends at work, I look at this at lease once a week..I love his music and when he smiles in the part where he is like moving with the music and rolls this hards around each other..and I like it at the end where he moves the mic and puts 2 fingers up, like yeah, I did it....what a performer........can't get much better than Mike Caro.......glyn

Thank You Tom, Jerry Glynda, John,Scott,Michele & Nite It was very very nice to read this and a big surprise Tom Shea so thank you for that. The Brooklyn Video The video was kind of a fluke. We had just purchased a great camera, this was while I was still working and my illness although very present was much easier to recoup from and was not nearly as bad as now. So i had many more decent days that I could move around sing & dance The camera wasn't working correctly so we sent it out for repair. When it came back my wife said "Why don't you go down and test it out, shoot some quick stuff to see how it's working. Well five hours later I come back up with this! So I shot the whole thing alone. It was my first shoot and she did all the editing first time as well in Final Cut Pro. That was our Easter! Things that always bother me - 1)Didn't notice that overhead cymbal mic behind me while I was singing. Would have moved it! 2)I would have shut the door on the inside control room shot 3) Would have wore a Brooklyn hat or a NY hat instead of a Portland Trailblazers hat lol... 4- And of COURSE - If I had even known I was going to make a video I would have went to Brooklyn and got some footage!!! Glynda - That rolling hands and clapping was a scene from The Kids Are Alright" It's the video from "Who Are You" by The Who Thanks guys - I was pretty dangerous when I was healthy!

You are still dangerous Mike. Maybe not as often as you would like to be.

Tom, I'm so glad you got to see/hear this!! Sometimes when we are gone for awhile or crazy busy we can miss that "gem" on one of the boards. This is a favorite of so many of us here and understandably so. Sub, don't worry, when someone wakes up from sleeping at the wheel and has the wisdom to run with this winning puppy, they can edit your tape a bit and add in those pictures of Brooklyn you wanted. I agree that would be a great idea. Best to all, Lynn
