Interested in hearing what the professional thinks of a song written by an amateur. Scott, I'm by no means a professional songwriter but I think the song will go over well with your target audience. The story seems solid to me and it's a pleasant tune. Stevie

Hi Scott, This sounds very good, but I am no pro! I’d love to see the lyrics too just because I don’t hear as well as I used to. Edit; I found the lyric on soundclick If you are singing this I LOVE your voice, you have a wonderful voice and its suits this song perfectly. The chorus is beautiful, I absolutely love this part, is it la la la? In the chorus, like I said I don’t hear as good as I once did. I think it’s from playing music SO loud! I can’t help it I like it loud. PS I could easily hear this playing on a country station, going to listen again!! LOL I'm back, yeah I think this could be a hit...I LOVE IT!!!! Dottie

It has a nice melody...there are a zillion images here but fewer emotional follow-ups to many of them...no disrespect, but it almost seems like you are trying to tie together a laundry list of phrases. Neil

Thanks Stevie and Dottie for taking the time to listen, Dottie I had a friend of mine perform the song for me. I like his voice a lot and thought he could do a good job singing this song. Neil thanks for taking the time to listen, Not sure how to take the comment other then the song doesn't make any sense to you, which is ok. Its 50 years summed up in 3 1/2 minute for a wetland creation/restoration project I'm doing with a light hearted chorus inviting everyone to live a little country life.
