My name is Paul King and I am the owner/operator of NashvilleHype! - a weblog dedicated to the promotion of songwriters and artist in Nashville. John Barlow Jarvis is a back to back two time Grammy Award winning songwriter in Nashville and he gives a great interview (with some excellent advice for those just starting out).

Bart Allmand had the #1 song recently ("Brand New Girlfriend") and writes with Jeffrey Steele, Bob Dipiero, and Craig Wiseman among many others.

Clay Cumbie is a songwriter signed to Craig Wiseman's Big Loud Shirt Industries

Ryan Tyndell is a songwriter signed to Sony/ATV and is pursuing an artist deal as well.

Also, I have people like Rusty Gaston who once oversaw Byron Gallimore's Song Garden and now co-owns This Music with Tim Nichols and Connie Harrinton (and yes, he's always looking for songs)

I have many more interviews from friends and associates either already on the site, or in the pipeline. From major songwriters and artists, to the behind the scenes worker bees in management, publishing, at labels, etc...
