I always appreciate the talent it takes to do a song with just a guitar and vocals. That takes real talent. No fancy mixes to cover anything up. Excellent lyrics. If so, you have a great voice. The theme that you are singing about here is so powerful - when our loved ones pass we see these "pieces" in a new light. You really nailed this feeling on the head. The lyrics are very well thought out & touching. The music soars up into the "heavenlies" and my wife listened in and loved it too. Sounds like it should be part of a movie soundtrack ... beautiful story. As a side note to Brock: have tried emailing you a couple of times with no response. Not sure if that means you didn't get the emails, if you're just too busy, or you had no interest in working on the song. It's up on my SoundClick site: Simple Pleasures Girl -- I think it would have sounded wonderful with your vocals.
