Hey, you wrote a Beatles song! Very nice.
If you're thinking of re-doing it, I would agree that you could probably fret up a bit, if you mean in pitch--I think that would put more energy into the vocal, and maybe even up the tempo a notch or two. It has a vibrant feel to the composition, but a tad relaxed in the delivery, so those changes might give it more zest. And Floyd is right: harmonies! Maybe even some of the counterpoint kind that come in when the lead isn't singing.
Cool stuff! Thanks for the listen Mark! Yeah i stumbled into that guitar lick and it fit, so I borrowed it! I figured out how to change the chords around and sing it more in my range. And I plan on picking up the pace and adding background vocals as well. May take me a bit to get everything lined up, but its worth the effort. Glad you liked it! Todd
