I have to add my voice to this as well. Like others have said, she made me feel welcome at JPF v1 way back when and was always very helpful, sharing what she knew of our craft, and what she thought of what I'd written.
When she and Dawg got together, they conceived of Pineyfest as a way to bring all of us JPF together.
All in all, one of the people who made JPF what it is.
So thank you Bobbie, and I hope and pray you gather strength and pull through.
And thank you Emily and Wy for stepping up to bring us news.
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop
