I have several hooks/ideas jotted down (not more than a couple of words or a line). I always feel it gives me a bit of back-up to launch from in case writer's block suddenly sets in the minute FAWM starts.  I probably won't even end up using them, though, because the FAWM energy is so infectious from the get-go that it inspires me right away, and pulls me in all kinds of other directions.  And there are always fun and interesting theme challenges and 'skirmishes' to to get the creative juices flowing. Donna
