I have a bass (Samick). All I have to record with is a dj mixer and no pre-amp, can not get the power I would like not to overpower, or not have enough power with everything else. But I am looking for advice with the bass before I look at pre-amps. But a pre-amp seems inevitable.
What would be the best basic pre-amp?
