Frankie and all, I would love to help in any way with writing on these great titles. Until then, here is a song that I wrote about a dream that I had back in 1997. I have been looking for a place to use it. See what you think.
Look for the Blue © 1997 Kenneth R. Andresen
V1 It’s was just about twilight, and what did I see. A dolphin was jumping, and talking to me.
She told me I’m welcome, to join her below. Her friends there were eager, To learn what I know.
Chorus1 I’m asked. Why oh why do you do what you do. She cried. Open your eyes and look for the blue. We’ve lived all our lives out in this sea. Spend all our time here in tranquillity. Chorus end
V2 So I jumped in the water, and to my surprise. I could breath very easy, so I opened my eyes.
I saw them all playing, in the light of the moon. They all swam beside me, and asked very soon.
Chorus2 Tell us. Why oh why do you do what you do. They cried. Open your eyes and look for the blue. We’ve lived all our lives out in this sea. Spend all our time here in tranquillity.
They took me to places, I could not believe. The beauty so precious, I never conceived.
Then they showed me pollution, beyond my belief. A graveyard of friends there, an ocean of grief.
Chorus3 And I heard. Why oh why do they do what they do. They cried. Open your eyes and look for the blue. We’ve lived all our lives out in this sea. Spend all our time here in tranquillity.
We went back to the playground, I stayed for a week. They taught me their secrets, the dolphin mystique.
I told them of my world, the beauty I’ve seen. The wonderful people, who keep our world clean.
Chorus4 And I said. I don’t know why we do what we do. As I. Opened my eyes into the blue. I spent part of my life out in this sea. And spent all that time there in tranquillity.
Chorus5 As I. Opened my eyes and looked into the blue. I said. I wish that we could be more like you. Making love and eating, swimming and fun. What else in this world is there, Come on everyone.
I said. I wish that we could be more like you. Making love and eating, swimming and fun. What else in this world is there, Come on everyone.
