We're updated as of 2-11-20. It is costing us $375 more just to host the site than it used to. We also need to build an entirely new website around the board which will feature video blogs/posts (similar to the old newsletter in video format) and I hope to start doing fun stuff like playing live games like Name That Tune, Name the Theme Song backwards, Trivia etc. via YouTube Live Streams once we have over 1,000 subscribers.
I also plan to start interviewing members of Just Plain Folks from all levels of the industry who have found alternative ways to survive off making music. There are so many stories to tell and I would love to get all of you on Video for the archive. I might even have a video introduction for those who donate to the site once YouTube allows us to do so.
Thanks to those who have started adding to our empty coffers. The unexpected closure of our 21 year host Hostbaby caused us tremendous expense which wiped out our accounts down to nearly 0! If you can find a way to support what you love, then please continue to do so so we're here like an old friend when you need us!
