Too long for radio. A short version could probably be easily done.
The feel, the Melody and Vocal Execution have much merit. AI knew what to do with your voice. You can learn to sing it that way.
The 'hits' on THE Hook, the Title Line drive it home. One listen and they'll remember it.

Sade had the most wonderful little combo. They put together very tight arrangements behind her Lyrics, much of which Sade wrote.
I was reading from a Trivia game question cards and one asked,
"What album hit the top of the Pop, Rock, and Jazz Charts all at the same time?"
It was "Promise" by Sade.
I tell people, "If you want to give the gift of music, give "Promise" by Sade.
When I see it in bargain bins I move it to the front. This is the music people are looking for. Ethereal. Exotic. Sade.
And yours, as Guy says, Michael Buble? Possibilities may not be endless, but they are broad.

Gary, thank you for taking the time to listen so carefully and for the detailed feedback. Coming from someone with your songwriting experience, your comments mean a lot to me.

I'm especially encouraged by what you said about the hook and title line being memorable. That's always the goal, and it's not easy to know whether you've achieved it until someone else hears it.

Your suggestion about sync licensing is interesting and honestly hadn't occurred to me. I'll also take another look at creating a shorter radio edit.
And yes, Sade's music has been a favorite of mine since I was a teenager, so I appreciate your thoughts on what made that sound so special. Thanks again for the encouragement and insights.

Take care - Robert
