I don't hink that I (or anyone else on this thread) suggested that any song by Dylan would replace any other song....
I think all we're saying is that, in our opinion, Dylan will have a place when the history of this era is written.

I was there when Dylan emerged and I can tell you that he changed the landscape, not once but twice.

Now...you can argue that...but..some people just like to argue.

Quality of work is really a subjective matter...I think history looks at those thgat made a difference....

Just being a commercially successful ********* is not good enough...
