Here's a simple pattern you can start with: On a G chord, pick the sixth (low) string with your thumb, the second string with your middle finger, the fourth string with your thumb, and the third string with your first finger. Each note should be an eighth note in length. Start very slowly. Once again that is, on the strings... 6 2 4 3 Using the fingers... T M T I Repeat this slowly and evenly until it becomes comfortable. You can practice this without the guitar by tapping your fingers T M T I. Once you get good at this post again and I'll move you on from there. ------------------ Mike Dunbar Music [This message has been edited by Mike Dunbar (edited 10-15-2002).]
You've got to know your limitations. I don't know what your limitations are. I found out what mine were when I was twelve. I found out that there weren't too many limitations, if I did it my way. -Johnny Cash It's only music. -niteshift Mike Dunbar Music
