Hi Folks,

I realize that based on the "Round 2 is finished" post there may be some confusion. Our rounds often occur simultaneously. That means that when X amount of material gets past round 1, it starts in round 2 while Round 1 is finishing. The same thing happens in each successive round (except the final) so that Round 1 was still being finished when some material was ALREADY in round 3. We finished Round 3 which actually started (some pieces of it) in January. Right now we're doing Round 4 and 5 simultaneously (which will result in both Album and Song nominations in early September). We're behind schedule, but we're determined to get back on track and still pull this off by our awards date in November.

Soon we'll be soliciting for 2006 Member judges for the final round. In the last awards, we had over 4000 judges involved. We've made some improvements to the process and we're hoping to make that last round easier to do than ever before (including, we hope, having all the nominated songs available on our site for judges). This will cut back on the number of CD's we need to burn for judges. (We hope).
