Hey Jody - I think all the bluesy stuff from Crossroads (that wasn't Steve Vai playing) was Ry Cooder. I think Ry even trained Ralph Macchio so he would "look like" he was really playing.
Not sure if this is accurate or not, but I think it's a cool pairing of Steve Via and Ry cooder.
