It's long at 4:31 as I recall Muskie. The intro could be cut in half but that's only about 7 seconds. The instrumental interlude takes some time. Playing live, all this is fine. For radio airplay, it would cut into their commercial time. The lyric doesn't seem to hook me with a compelling story, although it rhymes well enough. The first line is longer than others and the word "Just" isn't clear, losing 'hook factor' from the very beginning. It may be a matter of enunciating more clearly or dropping that word altogether. "Face Of Love" might be a more prominent phrase, occupying the strategic last line of the chorus, and being the result of the 'flying,' thereby earning the title honor.
There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com

"Do not endeavor to be the smartest kid in a dumb class. Instead, you are better off being the dumbest kid in the smartest class, where you will be challenged and you will learn. If you aren't growing, you are dying." -Brian Austin Whitney
