Based on the Hawaii police report, it looks legitimate to me. http://www.hawaiipolice.com/releases/missing_woman_cardarella_08-03-07.htmlrevised: I don't know, maybe this is a hoax. I would think that the police department links would be .org, not .com. I did look at the Hawaii Police main webpage and it is a .org. revision 2: Looking at the .com site it really does look legitimate. If it is a hoax someone went to great lengths to include many pages of details you would expect to find on a police website. The .org site looks entirely different, so why both? I don't know.
