Hi All,
I've been approached to release one of my demos for radio airplay, and digital downloads. I know about owning the rights to the master, and the work for hire question. What I need to now, is exactly how much of a percentage goes to the songwriter/publisher, the producer, the artist etc.? Does anyone know, or know where I can find out? I have a call in to BMI, but they haven't responded yet. I'd apreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

"If you are stuck in your musical composing, be unreasonable. Change your environment. If you are stuck in your lyrical efforts, instead of forcing the same old words out, force yourself to do unreasonable things." -Brian Austin Whitney
