Hello again, McFreddo: I've decided to change my original answer. My favorite songwriter is me. (Who else would put up with such a pugnacious old geezer?) Other than that, Hoagy is still my songwriting idol but I appreciate such a broad spectrum of writers and genres, you really have posed a difficult question disguised as a simple one.
