Yeah you could totally sound better. When playing songs for people they act like the person singing doesn't matter...but it does sort of matter. And it matters to me. If I could have somebody sing every song I write I would. I don't have that luxury though. So I use tools like auto-tune to make my voice more presentable. I actually have a decent voice, but it's not as god as a lot of the stars. This helps me compete to some extent.
