Agreed, gents, natural tube overdrive is the best. Smaller wattage is the key. I got a Fender 15-watt for sale on the Trade/Sell board wink Brand-new + 5-yr warranty. You can crank it indoors without going deaf wink

I'm not a fan of solid-state boxes, but for those of you who use Tube Screamers, I've been told the best usage is 2 side-by-side. Some folks even combine 3 ts in a row. Here's what I use:

Seymore Duncan, "Twin Tube Classic." I swear this is the best-sounding overdrive and distortion pedal around (it has 2 channels, so you can do either OD or Dist with one click). I'll post a photo if you're interested. Trust me, it's way better than any TS or Boss and I use Boss pedals. Tubes my friends. Tubes always sound better.
