I took your advice and set the Control area up in the space we talked about. The Middle room is the drum room. I used the same kind of door, with the window, Rick has at his place. I think this will work out just fine.
I still have to do something about all the reverb. It is really "LIVE". Hopefully curtains, couch, books, etc will soak up some of it.
But it is really only an issue if you are NOT recording direct in. Vocals could be a problem. I really don't want to build a vocal booth although the one at Rick's is great. We'll have to see.
