Beautiful job, Kevin.

You might want to do one or both of two things to get just a bit more separation between the guitar and mandolin: pan them both a little bit apart, if you recorded the guitar with the vocal on the same mic, it won't work, if they were two mics, it might work ok, listen for phase cancellation, but if you recorded them all at different times it will work fine. Other than that, you could make an eq notch. For example, take a little bit of 5-600 out of the mandolin, and take a little bit of 8-900 out of the guitar. These are starting points for the eq, use your ears to find out what does the trick. And, of course you could do both...and of course you could do neither smile

Very good work, this is just a small suggestion, as it sits it sounds "radio friendly" to my ears.

You've got to know your limitations. I don't know what your limitations are. I found out what mine were when I was twelve. I found out that there weren't too many limitations, if I did it my way. -Johnny Cash
