What I'm hearing is maybe a 1.3:1 compression at -40db... A light compression that encompasses everything. There's a LOT of space in this mix that isn't working for me completely. By doing this kind of compression it might bring the quieter elements to the forefront. Give it a try at any rate... it should take you about 30 seconds to set it up... just see if you like the results!
